Depending on the side you're playing, you may harvest oil automatically just by building a rig over a deposit. To that end the game doesn't have much of a real-time feel. Each nation is totally different and uses unique strategies in their attack and defense and all the campaigns are based on real historical events, bringing an unparalleled realism to the fight.
